Delicious falafel sandwiches- easily best in NYC. The fresh salad, crispy pickled radishes, delicious tahini sauce and hot sauce are standouts. I love the falafel - spicy and fresh. I've eaten at the restaurant and food truck, both are great. I've tried their sandwiches and platters both are delicious. My husband has tried their chicken and loved it. Highly recommend!

Thank you to whoever reported the false information that KOF was permanently closed. I love everything about this restaurant--the food, the people, the decor. You'll get more food here than at other halal trucks in the area, but what sets this place apart is the variety. My favorite platter is the workout chicken. I've never had fava beans with my halal food before, and now I feel like they're a must-have. Tip: It's definitely worth waiting a few extra minutes for the chicken kabob instead of the chicken shawarma.
Always great friendly service. They let you try the falafels sometimes even without asking and make it all fresh and hot. Authentic and proud Muslim business. They have been a staple in this Astoria community for a while. Had the falafel wrap w white and hot sauce and fries and falafel wrap w rice and salad. A lot of food for the process and very filling . If you dine in extra white and hot sauce served in bottles at the table. Give it a try when you want a real middle eastern falafel .
FIRSTLY - if you're coming to Yelp from Google Maps to see if this place is actually permanently closed, NO it's still very much open. Seems likely that someone maliciously marked them as closed. So, I recommend you all go on Google Maps and suggest edits to get the maps listing back to open. That being said, I've been going for years, and their food has been consistently delicious. I've tried their falafel, original chicken, chicken kebab, and beef kebab. Can't go wrong with any of them. Also, my parents live in NJ and they always talk about how much they love the falafel. Keep it up! Highly recommended.
This was my first outing to this fine establishment. This Middle Eastern restaurant is nothing but authentic. Inside the restaurant has great memorabilia of where the owner originated from. How the owner began his journey from food cart. To a brick and mortar restaurant. When you enter the restaurant. You will see packages of falafel mix that you can purchase. The owner puts nothing but love into his craft/food. The staff here is the best. The neighborhood loves this place. Keep doing what you've been doing Chef! You have created something we can't live without! If you're ever in the neighborhood. GET SOME!!!
